Above you will see a few dyno runs at various throttle positions in 4th and 5th gear.

The 5th gear runs come to an abrupt halt as the Top Speed limiter kicks in, just over 200 in 5th, but the 4th gear pull will show you the difference with the top speed limiter removed.

 

The Dotted lines are the runs as teh bike came in, the solid line is after a base flash, with no fuel tuning! - the fueling is near perfect as is.

I have spent many, hours on the dyno with a few of these bikes, perfecting this base flash.

 

I can make some basic changes to your stock ecu settings that will greatly de-restrict your bike, without going too far and making any changes that could harm your bike.

 

All bikes are different, what works for one, will usually not work for another;

I will fine tune the mapping on your ecu and NEVER load a map from another bike.

 

The MT09 is probably the bike that needs an ECU Flash the most...

With the Top Speed Limit, the closing of the Electronic Throttle Valves and Ignition timming pulled in 5th and 6th - there is alot that you dont have access to...

 

On this model we can... 

- Remove top Speed limiter

- Enable Injectors on Deceleration

- Adjust Injector balance

- Adjust Ignition timing

- Disable Closed Loop Fueling system

- Adjust Rev Limiter

- Lower your Fan on and off Tempretures

- Disable Pair valve system

- Disable Top Speed Limiter

- Tune in some Light Pops and Bangs just for some entertainment on deceleration

 

This will get rid of annoying Fi Error codes, improve your bikes day to day running temperatures, make it more responsive, smoother, often lighter on fuel, more reliable and even a bit more powerful, without touching fuel settings.

 

NB Please note that your Fi light will show on ce the ECU is removed and refitted - this will have to be cleared with an OBD2 Diagnostic Tool

 

We don’t need the bike on our dyno for this basic tune, we don’t even need the bike.

All we need is for you to remove the ecu, arrange collection for the ecu, I will make some adjustments and we will send it right back to you.

 

Base Price is R3500 for the flash and an additional courier fee, that we can arrange with you directly.

 

The entire process should take 3 to 5 working days, from your door, back to your door.
